CAC Specialty, a specialty insurance brokerage and investment banking platform recently established by Cobbs Allen, has appointed Colin Daly as Executive Vice President and Co-leader of the firm’s Financial Lines Practice (FLP).
A founding member of JLT Specialty US, Daly was key in shaping its US business. He also formed and grew the firm’s Financial Lines Group nationally.
Prior to JLT, he served as the national leader of Aon’s Financial Services Group.
As Co-leaders of CAC’s FLP, Daly and Darren Sonderman will take control of attracting talent, clients, and carrier partners that will mutually develop solutions in the D&O, Cyber, E&O, EPL, Fidelity, Fiduciary and Kidnap, Ransom & Extortion Liability product lines.

They will also work closely with CAC’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice in order align transaction liability products, due diligence and restructuring offerings with FLP clients.
