Global specialty insurer and reinsurer, Canopius Group, has hired Trevor Moss from Agency Partners as Head of Investor Relations, effective March 2022.
In his new role, Moss will work with investors, analysts and banks to offer the firm an ‘outside-in’ perspective of its market, as part of the re/insurer’s continued investigation into a range of potential, long-term investment and funding options.
A highly experienced analyst, Moss has led research on UK and European insurance firms for banks and financial institutions for almost three decades.
He joins from Agency Partners, an independent equity research provider, where he led the insurance research business since 2019. Earlier in his career, he held senior analyst roles where he led insurance teams at Berenberg, MF Global, HSBC, and Société Générale.
Moss will report into Canopius Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Gavin Phillips, who commented: “I am delighted that Trevor has chosen to join Canopius. He brings a raft of experience of the insurance sector gleaned over decades, having worked with many global companies and their key stakeholders ranging from shareholders and investors to boards and executives.
