Carbon names Rebecca Ince as Chief Operating Officer

Carbon Underwriting Limited, a specialist independent managing general underwriter and Lloyd’s Syndicate CBN 4747, has appointed Rebecca Ince as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 5th, 2026.

carbon logoIn her new role, Ince will oversee all day-to-day operations at Carbon, including the technology, data, operations, compliance, and risk teams. She will also play a pivotal role in driving Carbon’s success, and executing its growth strategy.

She has 25 years of industry experience, and most recently served at Dual International, also as COO.

Before this, Ince spent 18 years at specialist insurer Hiscox, where she ultimately held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and COO at Hiscox MGA.

This appointment follows a solid period of growth for the firm, with premiums in the last five years going from £15 million to £320 million.
