Carpenters Group, a UK legal and insurance services provider, has announced the appointment of Carol Hopwood as Head of Serious and Catastrophic Injury, effective 3 September.
Hopwood joins Carpenters Group from Slater and Gordon in Liverpool, where she most recently spent five years as Principal Lawyer and Head of Brain and Spinal Injuries.
She has 25 years of experience as a personal injury lawyer specialising in cases of clients with brain, spinal, and amputation injuries, as well as fatal accidents.
In her new role, Hopwood will be responsible for leading the Serious and Catastrophic Injury team, which is based in Carpenters’ Liverpool office, and will also join the Group’s Operating Board.
