The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) has announced the appointment of Kara Ebanks as the new Head of its Insurance Supervision Division.
Ebanks previously served as Deputy Head since April 2021. Ebanks has been an integral part of CIMA since joining the organisation in 2007.
Throughout her tenure, she has established herself as a key member of the insurance team and has gained recognition within the industry.
Colleagues and industry peers have consistently praised her strong technical skills and the high-quality work she produces.
In addition to her new responsibilities, Ebanks will retain her role as the primary contact for various international associations and National Risk Assessment activities.
Ebanks has played a vital role in numerous high-level matters, contributing significantly to the team’s growth and success over the years.
