Cécile Paillard named Generali Group Chief Transformation Officer

Italy-headquartered insurer Generali has announced the appointment of Cécile Paillard as Group Chief Transformation Officer, effective as of September 2, 2024.

generali-logoAlso joining the Group Management Committee (GMC), Paillard will be directly reporting to the General Manager, Marco Sesana.

As Group Chief Transformation Officer, Paillard will be responsible for accelerating the company’s transformation, driving the execution of its strategy towards greater digitalization across the organisation and innovation in terms of customer experience and distribution networks, key drivers for the Lifetime Partner model.

With 25 years of experience in financial services, and a notable expertise in strategic
planning and innovation Paillard joins Generali from the Coface Group, where she most recently served as CEO Mediterranean, Middle East & Africa.

Prior to that she held a number of positions in AXA. Paillard served as a Senior Financial analyst for AXA Investment Manager for over five years before being appointed AXA Group Director – Strategic Audit.

She was then named Group Strategic Planning Director prior to becoming AXA MedLA Chief Development Officer.
