CFC acquires Australian cyber security firm Insane Technologies

Specialist insurer CFC has extended its in-house cyber incident response team with the acquisition of Insane Technologies, an Australian cyber security and incident response provider.

CFCWith the addition of Insane Technologies, CFC says it has deepened its roster of in-house technical experts.

“Like us, Insane have been handling cyber security incidents for over two decades and are one of the most experienced providers in the market,’ said Dave Walsh, Chief Executive Officer of CFC.

“We’re excited to bring their team of deeply-skilled technical experts in-house to help strengthen our proposition for our cyber insurance customers.”

“CFC is one of the only cyber insurance providers in the market who are leading the way in incident response, threat intelligence and risk management,’ said David Rudduck, Managing Director of Insane.

“We look forward to joining the CFC team and offering cutting-edge cyber security services to our customers around the world.”

CFC previously acquired Texas-based incident response provider Solis Security in October 2019, and insurtech ThreatInformer in 2020.
