Charles Taylor boosts its loss adjusting services in Asia with key hires

With the expansion of its operations across Asia, Charles Taylor has welcomed 11 new hires to boost its loss adjusting services team across vital locations in the region.

According to the announcement, this move is in response to the growing need for comprehensive loss adjusting services in Asia, and as part of the company’s commitment to investing in young talent entering the industry, the company has made significant strides in expanding its presence in the continent.

These recent additions bring Charles Taylor’s teams of technical adjusters and insurance specialists to more than 300 across 18 locations throughout Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, China, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

The new hires in the Singapore team include Matthew Cao, Managing Director, Richards Hogg Lindley – Southeast Asia’ Arnaud Meltz, Director, Construction & Engineering; and Chan Bing Hui, Trainee Loss Adjuster, Natural Resources.

With over 17 years of regional experience and the prestigious Association of Average Adjusting Fellowship accreditation, Matthew Cao, joins as Managing Director of Richards Hogg Lindley – Southeast Asia’ Charles Taylor’s Marine Hull Average Adjusting business.

Additionally, Arnaud Meltz, who has 18 years’ experience managing large and complex claims for insurers and reinsurers, relocated from France to Singapore to grow the construction and engineering practice in the region.

Joining the Hong Kong team are Raymond Wong, Loss Adjuster; Tom Chan, Senior Loss Adjuster, Construction & Engineering; Ellie Woo, Trainee Adjuster ; and John Chan, Trainee Adjuster.

These new hires bring Hong Kong Property, Casualty, Construction & Engineering teams to 36 members. The Charles Taylor Hong Kong team, the firm highlights, is a highly regarded provider of adjusting and technical services across all major lines, including construction and engineering, marine, property, and casualty.

Kelvin Simon is joining the Malaysia team as a Loss Adjuster (Sarawak) alongside Hayat Haikal, Loss Adjuster (Selangor); Liew Chee Yong, Deputy Manager (Sarawak); and Gajendran A/L Sukumaran, Deputy Manager, Motor (Johor Bahru).
There are now 33 members in the Malaysian team, located in key regional locations in Malaysia. They report to Bala Subramaniam, Managing Director, Property and Casualty, Charles Taylor Malaysia.

According to Charles Taylor, its Malaysia team is well-regarded for providing adjusting and technical services across all m
