Global specialty insurer and reinsurer Chaucer has appointed Richard Milner as its new Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), subject to local regulatory approval.
As the Group CEO, Milner’s remit will include being responsible for the general oversight, management, and strategic development of the business which includes composite Syndicate 1084, specialty nuclear Syndicate 1176, and the company’s insurance company in Dublin.
Milner is a market veteran and has held several executive roles at firms like Aspen and Axis Re, where he built on his global re/insurance underwriting expertise.
His extensive experience also includes working with Lloyd’s and across international markets, driving transformation and delivering growth and performance goals.
