W. R. Berkley Corporation, a commercial lines property and casualty insurer and reinsurer, has appointed Christopher T. Reichardt as President of Berkley Oil & Gas.
In his new role, Reichardt succeeds Linda A. Eppolito, who will transition as the Chair of the business unit. Both appointments are effective immediately.
As a business unit, Berkley Oil & Gas offers specialised coverages, risk control services, and expert claims management to clients working in the oil patch, including operators, drillers, geophysical contractors, well servicing contractors, equipment suppliers, and manufacturers/distributors of oilfield products.
Reichardt has over two decades of experience in the oil and gas insurance industry, more than 15 years of which were spent at Berkley Oil & Gas.
Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer for the business unit.
