Chubb, the property and casualty (P&C) insurer, has appointed American International Group’s (AIG) Robin Roos as Technology and Climate Tech Industry Practice Leader for the firm’s Northern Europe Region.
In the role, he is expected to lead Chubb’s multi-line proposition for Technology clients.
In addition, he will also lead the company’s proposition for Climate Tech clients.
Based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, Roos joins Chubb with a deep degree of industry expertise.
Most recently, he served at AIG, where he held the role of Head of Financial Lines – The Netherlands. He held this role for just over six years.
Moreover, Roos also previously worked at FRISS, the AI-powered fraud and risk solution provider for P&C insurers, where he held the role of Head of Customer Success.
Roos also previously served at NVO Verzekeringen, an insurance broker specialised in risk solutions for cargo forwarding and SME companies. He worked at this company for 17 years, joining in 1998, as a sales manager and business development manager, before later going on to become Managing Director in 2008.
In related news, Chubb recently hired David Kirk as Division President of Chubb Global Markets, which encompasses the company’s London Market wholesale and specialty business, including its Lloyd’s operations.
