Bermudian reinsurer Hamilton Re has announced that Claude Lefebvre, current Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), Partnerships & Casualty Reinsurance, is to leave the firm in order to pursue other interests.
Lefebvre was a founding member of Hamilton Re, the Bermuda platform of insurer and reinsurer Hamilton Insurance Group, and will stay on at the firm until the end of March to facilitate a smooth transition, after which he will remain available to the firm throughout his period of garden leave.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hamilton Re, Kathleen Reardon, commented: “Claude’s role in founding and building Hamilton Re has been meaningful. He was instrumental in assisting us in building a market reputation for superior client service.
“Hamilton is grateful for Claude’s many contributions to Hamilton Re over the past six years and we wish him the best in his future endeavours.”
