Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has appointed Dennis Manfredi as co-head of the firm’s US Insurance practice.
Manfredi brings more than 23 years of experience towards the role. He joins Clifford Chance from Sidley Austin’s insurance and financial services group.
He has a wide amount of knowledge and expertise in helping insurance and reinsurance companies with transactional and regulatory matters, including M&A, domestic and cross border reinsurance transactions, reinsurance collateral arrangements, and pension risk transfer transactions.
At the same time, he has also previously worked on innovative structured finance matters such as private equity-backed life and annuity sidecars and other third-party capital-financed reinsurance vehicles, insurtech, and regulatory reserve and embedded value transactions.
Manfredi’s appointment follows the recent hire of insurance regulatory counsel Eugene Benger and adds further depth in the US to Clifford Chance’s industry-leading global insurance offering.
