CNA Hardy, a provider of specialist insurance solutions for commercial businesses, has announced the appointment of Clive Magnus as Active Underwriter for the firm’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 382.
Magnus will succeed Carl Day, who has resigned after serving as Active Underwriter of CNA Hardy Syndicate 382 for nine years.
Jalil Rehman, Chief Executive Officer and President at CNA Hardy, expressed enthusiasm for Magnus’ appointment, stating, “Clive is a hugely respected underwriting leader, and I am delighted to announce his promotion.”

Magnus joined CNA Hardy in 2015 as Class Manager Upstream Energy and currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Natural Resources.
Prior to that, Magnus worked at Catlin for 13 years, most recently serving as Energy Underwriter.
