Coalition, an active insurer focused on preventing digital risks, has expanded its UK operations to include organisations domiciled in the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, the remaining Channel Islands, and Gibraltar.

The move marks significant broadening of the firm’s geographic footprint, allowing organisations in the UK Crown Dependencies and Gibraltar to access digital risk prevention tools and cyber insurance coverage through Coalition’s platform.

“Most cyber criminals don’t discriminate between organisations based on region. A law firm on the Isle of Man is no less at risk from a cyber incident than one based in London. That’s why we are pleased to expand the availability of our coverage to help protect organisations in these territories,” Tom Draper, UK Managing Director, commented.

The targeted regions represent a wide variety of high-value sectors. In the Isle of Man, financial services and e-gaming are significant contributors to the Gross National Income.

Gibraltar’s economy is very service-oriented, and its tax structure continues to attract businesses to the area.

“At the same time, the territory governments have been investing in cyber support structures for their communities, through organisations such as the Jersey Cyber Security Centre. Our ability to serve firms in all these regions with cyber insurance and cyber risk management support will help protect the UK economy as a whole from the impact of cyber attacks,” Draper.

Organisations located in these territories can now secure quotes through Coalition’s existing UK broker network.
