Commerzbank AG has appointed Dan Broome to lead UK Insurance & Asset Manager Coverage within the Non-Bank Financial Institutions team in London.
In his new role, Broome will focus on strengthening relationships and developing the franchise within the sector, delivering funding and capital solutions through the bank’s international platform across global insurance and reinsurance markets, including London, Frankfurt, Zurich, New York, and Bermuda.
He brings more than a decade of experience covering the insurance sector in London and New York at Lloyds Bank, Barclays, and EY.
Broome joins Commerzbank AG from Barclays, where he most recently served as a Director.
Prior to that, he led the Insurance sector Debt & Capital Advisory desk at EY, with a focus on advising and supporting insurance underwriters, brokers, and service companies on raising finance to support their ambitions across growth, refinance, or M&A.
In a recent LinkedIn post, Broome said, “After a strong chapter at Barclays, I’m very much looking forward to reconnecting with friends and colleagues across the market in the weeks ahead.”
