Concert Group Holdings (Concert), a leading specialty carrier in the insurance industry, has announced the appointment of Edward Renner to the newly established role of Vice President, Senior Corporate Counsel.
Renner officially joined the company on August 1, 2023. In this pivotal position, he will report directly to Chief Legal Officer Matthew Wagner and will become an integral member of Concert’s esteemed management team.
Renner’s primary responsibilities will encompass contract review and management, the formulation and enhancement of internal policies and procedures, as well as the oversight of human resources operations. His office will be headquartered in Chicago.

Renner arrives at Concert from his prior role as Assistant Vice President, Corporate Counsel at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA).
Over the course of his four-year tenure at APCIA, Renner successfully managed a high volume of contracts, navigated complex legal enterprise risk scenarios, and ensured rigorous compliance with APCIA’s insurance-related contractual obligations.
Additionally, Renner played a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s human resources functions and stood as a regular presenter at the annual Human Resources Conference.
