Bermuda-based reinsurer Conduit Re has announced the appointment of Michelle Seymour Smith as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Seymour Smith most recently served as the Chief Transformation Officer of Arch Capital Group, prior to which she was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Arch Reinsurance.
At Arch, she helped to build and oversee the financial operations of the insurance, reinsurance and mortgage divisions as well as those of the company’s international subsidiary reinsurance divisions.
Before joining Arch in 2004, Michelle held positions at XL Capital Ltd. and Zurich Insurance Global Energy.
