Corgi Insurance, an AI-native insurance carrier built for high-growth companies, has announced the appointment of Stephen Segroves as Head of Pricing.
In his new role, Segroves will lead pricing for the company’s trucking programme, building rating models across commercial and business lines nationwide.
He brings nearly two decades of experience across actuarial science, pricing, data science, predictive modelling and insurance analytics.
Segroves joins Corgi from Nirvana Insurance, where he served as Senior Director, Actuary, overseeing insurance analytics and pricing.
Prior to that, he was Senior Director of Data Science at VoyageWorks, where he led a cross-functional team of data scientists, actuaries and data engineers developing predictive and machine learning models for pricing and underwriting, delivering custom solutions that improve commercial auto profitability for clients.
Segroves also spent 14 years at Travelers, where he held various senior leadership roles across actuarial, data science, research and development, pricing and predictive modelling. Most recently, he served as AVP and Data Scientist.
