CRC Group, a wholesale specialty insurance distributor in North America, has expanded its Specialty division with the addition of four new professionals.
Matthew Duff has joined CRC Specialty in Little Rock as an Underwriting Team Leader. He brings more than a decade of industry experience, spanning homeowners, personal lines, and excess and surplus underwriting.
Duff joins CRC from One General Agency, where he served as a Personal Lines Underwriter. Before that, he held senior underwriting roles at Jencap and Burns & Wilcox.
Ron Bussey has been appointed Senior Broker at CRC Specialty. In this role, he will be based in Nashville, Tennessee, focusing on casualty placements for large and middle-market clients.
With more than 25 years of experience in casualty insurance, Bussey has managed programs and placements across multiple industries, providing clients with innovative solutions for complex risk portfolios.
Michael Gallien, Jr. has joined as a Broker specialising in energy, construction, and transportation risks. He will report to the Dallas, Texas office.
Gallien brings two decades of experience in business development and underwriting, having established lasting relationships with retail agencies while structuring effective coverage programs for clients in high-risk industries.
He joins the firm from Texas Security General Insurance Agency, where he served as a Commercial Lines Broker. Prior to that, he was a Senior Business Development Consultant at Third Coast Underwriters (3CU). Earlier in his career, Gallien held various roles at CBIZ Insurance Services, Amwins, AIG, and Travelers.
Alan Renfroe has been appointed as a Broker within CRC Specialty’s Birmingham office, where he will be responsible for the strategic growth of the Birmingham Professional Lines team (BHM PRO).
Renfroe brings nearly 15 years of experience leading specialty insurance businesses. He joins CRC from McGriff, where he most recently served as National Director, Consumer Insurance, leading a portfolio of five specialty insurance profit centres across marine, catastrophe, and direct-to-consumer insurance solutions.
