CRC Group, a North American wholesale specialty insurance distributor, has announced the appointment of two new underwriting team leaders, Lance Lee and Andrew Weinberg.
Lee, who has almost a decade of industry experience, is joining the company’s Clearwater, FL office as a transportation specialist.
Prior to joining CRC Group, he served as a Commercial Transportation Underwriter with GTU, Inc., a managing general agency specialising in underwriting commercial auto coverage for truckers and truck brokers throughout the country.
Weinberg is joining CRC’s Minneapolis, MN office and like Lee, he is also specialising in transportation.
Prior to joining CRC Group, he served as an underwriter with Burns & Wilcox, a wholesale brokerage. Before that, he was a Commercial Transportation Specialist with The Paladin Group.
“These new appointments mark a strategic expansion effort aimed at enhancing CRC Group’s ability to assist retail agency clients nationwide,” a CRC spokesperson said.
Earlier in the year, CRC Group also announced the appointment of former Markel executive, Vince Colosimo as Executive Vice President, who will additionally assume the role of Office President in mid-2025.
Current Office President Fred Curatolo is to take on a newly created role as Office Chairman.
