Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (RGA), a global life and health reinsurer, has appointed Crystal Lu as Senior Vice President (SVP), Investor Relations, effective June 8th, 2026.
In her new role, Lu will report to Axel André, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of RGA, and lead investor relations strategy.
Additionally, she will liaise with the global investment community, supporting communication around the reinsurer’s financial performance and long-term value creation.
Lu has deep insurance industry expertise, having worked extensively with institutional investors across public and private markets.
Most recently, she served as an Insurance Investor at Gillson Capital, developing differentiated sector perspectives that informed investment decisions and performance.
Before this, Lu held an investing role at Surveyor Capital after starting her career in equity research at Autonomous Research and Credit Suisse, maintaining a singular focus on the insurance sector throughout.
