Cytora, an AI-powered digital risk platform, has expanded its global advisory board by welcoming several insurance industry veterans to its advisory board, in a move that is set to support Cytora’s global growth.
According to Cytora, the group consists of leaders across Commercial and Specialty insurance.
This includes: Bronek Masojada, Chair of SiriusPoint and former CEO of Hiscox, Jeffrey Hayman, Chair of R&Q Insurance Holdings and former board member of Zurich Insurance Group, John Bruno, President of Xerox and former Group COO & CEO of Data & Analytic Services of Aon, and Bill Bloom, former CIO and Head of Operations at both The Hartford and Travelers.
The group will join other insurance industry leaders that already sit on the firms advisory board.
This includes: Kelly Lyles, board member at Convex and Howden Group, Thomas Huerlimann, board member of Hiscox and former CEO of Zurich Global Corporate, Adrian Brown, former UK CEO RSA, Karen Green, board member of Miller Insurance Services and Phoenix Group Holdings and Alan Morgan, former senior partner at McKinsey and head of financial services.
“Cytora is one of the most exciting insurtechs around. In a very short period of time it has secured an impressive client base including some of the world’s biggest insurers. You do not land these businesses as clients unless you bring something compelling to the table. I look forward to helping Cytora on its journey to becoming a major global growth company,” said Hayman.
“Cytora is having a major impact on the risk workflows of leading global commercial insurers and accelerating their transition to a digital-first operating model. I look forward to helping Cytora on its journey,” commented Bloom.
“Cytora is creating capacity for incumbent insurance companies to write more risk at a profitable level. The industry has been searching for ways to decouple premium growth from expense growth in order to scale to meet the rising level of risk and to deliver more value to clients. Cytora is having a transformative impact on the industry,” added Bruno.
“The insurance world needs to go digital. Cytora is a great tool for making risk flow digitally and I look forward to look working Richard and the team to advise them to on how this happen,” stated Masojada.
Richard Hartley, CEO and Co-founder of Cytora, commented: “I’d like to welcome our new advisors to the advisory board. Digital transformation is at the top of the boardroom agenda and it is a difficult area for insurance companies to navigate and achieve enduring success. We are pleased to bring together such a breadth of expertise to help lead the industry forward.”
Cytora recently unveiled its latest enhancement, leveraging Large Language Models, bringing in a new level of “accuracy and efficiency” to risk assessment and underwriting processes.
