Specialist re/insurance broker, Miller Insurance Services LLP, has appointed David Porter as Account Executive within its Bermuda office.
Based in Bermuda, Porter brings nearly 20 years of industry experience towards his new role, having held multiple leadership roles across various companies.
He began his career in 2005 working at Everest Reinsurance Company, where he held the role of Associate Manager.
In 2008 Porter then moved to ACE Bermuda Insurance Ltd., where he served as Assistant Vice President for just under five years.
After his tenure at ACE Bermuda, Porter would move to global re/insurer AIG, where he worked as Vice President – product line manager (energy & construction). He would serve in this role for just under five years.
After his stint at AIG, Porter would serve as VP at Aspen Bermuda Limited for a brief period, before moving to Frontier Bermuda, where he would hold the role of senior re/insurance consultant for over two years.
In his most recent role, before joining Miller, Porter served as VP, casualty & head of cyber insurance at Ed.
