Davies, a specialist professional services and technology business serving the insurance market, has acquired North Carolina-based independent loss adjusting firm Budget Claims Services.
With headquarters in Greensboro, Barker Claim Services provides professional claims handling and loss adjusting expertise predominantly across property, casualty and motor claims to insurers, municipalities and self-insured corporates across Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Northeast Tennessee.
Through this acquisition, Barker Claim Services is to build on Davies’ existing nationwide claims operations in North America, led by Claims Solutions CEO, Don Lederer, providing additional regional coverage to clients in these states.

This expansion has been driven by the company’s aim to blend nationwide coverage with regionalised expertise, enabling it to provide comprehensive solutions to its clients.
The firm’s claims capability within North America now spans Property & Casualty, Life & Health, Transportation, Energy and Marine insurance markets and includes a full range of TPA and loss adjusting solutions across all 50 states and parts of Canada.
Davies full service offering across North America includes captive management, forensic accounting, auditing, actuarial, subrogation, excess claims management and risk & inspection solutions.
