Westfield Specialty, a US property & casualty insurer continues to expand its footprint with the addition of a market-leading environmental underwriting team and its sixth line of business.
The company has confirmed that Dennis Willette, Senior Vice President Environmental, will lead the Specialty Environmental team.
Willette has more than 15 years of experience across both the environmental consulting and insurance industries.
Throughout his career, he has worked for various companies, such as AXA XL, where he held the role of VP, Head of Environmental – East Region, and Senior Underwriter AVP – Environmental Team Leader, Northeast.
Additionally, Willette also previously served as a Senior Environmental Underwriter at XL Catlin, as well as an Environmental Underwriter at AIG.

Additionally, Westfield Specialty’s Environmental Contractors’ Pollution and Professional Liability (CPPL) policy is available on a non-admitted basis for accounts with an effective date from June 1, 2023 or later.
Westfield stated that the coverage is available on a standalone basis for contractors’ pollution liability (CPL) or combined basis for CPL and professional liability (CPL/PL) basis.
