Distinguished Programs, a national MGA and insurance programme manager, has officially opened its Marine Cargo programme for business.
The programme provides coverage for physical loss or damage to goods in transit and storage. Coverage includes Stock Throughput, Ocean/International Transit, Domestic Inland Transit, Foreign Inland Transit, and Contingent Cargo, addressing complex global supply chains and specialised logistics exposures across a range of industries.
Ralph Salce, President of Distinguished Marine Cargo, is leading the programme, bringing more than three decades of industry experience.
Salce is joined by Ralph Santoro, Derek Gibbons, John Murillo, and Jose Schloessman, forming a team focused on responsive service and tailored solutions.
Coverage is backed by Allianz and written on admitted paper, providing a strong financial foundation and consistent capacity for brokers and insureds.
Distinguished noted that the Marine Cargo programme further expands its portfolio of specialty offerings, which includes environmental, fine art and collectibles, real estate, hospitality, restaurant, transactional liability, community association, executive lines, surety, and inland marine.
Salce said, “Our focus is on helping brokers navigate complex cargo placements with clarity and confidence.
“We work closely with our partners to structure coverage around how their clients move and store goods, from global transit to warehousing and specialised logistics risks. Allianz’s backing provides a strong and stable foundation behind the programme.”
