Distinguished Programs reveals veteran team for Executive Lines business

Distinguished Programs (Distinguished), a national insurance program manager, has recently introduced its team of seasoned industry veterans for the newly established Executive Lines business.

The Executive Lines business aims to set a new standard in management liability insurance, specialising in risk-specific underwriting and tailored solutions for each unique exposure.

Leading the team is Ryan Becker, accompanied by Crystal Greene, Carol Smith, Devon Lay, and Maggie Holland.

Becker, with over 28 years of experience in financial lines and management liability businesses, emphasises the team’s expertise in management liability insurance, stating, “We understand the complexities of this space like no other, and we’re proud to bring our extensive knowledge to the table.”

“We’re not just insurance providers; we’re strategic partners, leveraging our expertise and close relationships with wholesale brokers to deliver exceptional service and protection to their agents and clients,” Becker adds.

Crystal Greene assumes the role of Chief Underwriting Officer, bringing over 20 years of experience in management liability underwriting D&O. Before joining Distinguished, she held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Management Liability at Ascot Insurance.

Carol Smith, with 21 years of experience in management liability underwriting, will serve as Senior Vice President in the new team. She has previously held various leadership roles at renowned companies such as Ascot, RSUI Group, and Chubb.

Also serving as Senior Vice President is Devon Lay, who specialises in underwriting private and non-profit risks with over 19 years of experience in management liability underwriting. Lay previously held the position of Vice President, Management Liability at Ascot.

Maggie Holland joins the Executive Lines team as Operations Manager. Prior to this role, she worked at Ascot, starting as an Underwriting Assistant before being promoted to an Underwriter.
