DUAL North America, a specialty program administrator and part of the DUAL Group, has appointed Dwain Chamberlain as Executive Vice President and Head of Specialty Healthcare, as the company launches its new Specialty Healthcare program.
Chamberlain will be reporting to Chief Casualty Officer, Connie Germano. His remit will include being responsible for leading the strategic direction and growth of the Specialty Healthcare program.
Germano commented on the appointment, “Dwain’s extensive expertise in building teams that analyze complex risks and develop creative strategies and solutions to resolve the unique needs of healthcare clients will set a solid foundation for this initiative at DUAL North America.
“With his diverse analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills combined with a consistent record of critical thinking and sound business judgment while building successful teams, under the new program Dwain will expand our current Allied Health product offerings to provide broader solutions to the marketplace.”
The new program provides comprehensive solutions to support medical professionals who serve in the healthcare industry and has been “A” Rated by A.M. Best. It offers professional liability, general liability, and optional sub-limit coverage including HIPPA, sexual misconduct, TRIA, employee benefits liability, and hired and non-owned auto liability.
Most recently, Chamberlain served at Hallmark Financial Services, Inc. as a Senior Vice President. He brings over 25 years of experience in the professional liability market with broad leadership, underwriting and business development experience to the role.
