Bill Tepe, President of NationsBuilders Insurance Services, Inc. (NBIS), a DUAL subsidiary since 2009, has announced his retirement effective January 12th, 2024.
Tepe, who contributed 14 years of service to NBIS, expressed pride in the shared triumphs and growth during his tenure, extending gratitude to the exceptional team and partners.
D.J. Postles, appointed Executive Vice President of Underwriting in March 2023, now assumes the day-to-day management of NBIS.
Postles, with a 22-year career in underwriting and leadership, brings extensive experience from working with both large and mid-size carriers in the North American insurance marketplace. He will report directly to Tricia Loney, Head of Specialty Casualty, the company said.
Tepe, in acknowledging the transition, stated, “D.J.’s wealth of industry knowledge will ensure that NBIS continues to excel in providing top-tier services for the crane, rigging, concrete pumping, and specialised transportation insurance sectors.”
In further support of Postles, Lindia Nicholas-Krittenen has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Underwriting.
Nicholas-Krittenen, previously the VP of Underwriting at NBIS, brings over 25 years of insurance experience, with six dedicated to NBIS.
In her new role, she will spearhead the management, development, and execution of underwriting strategies and objectives. Additionally, Nicholas-Krittenen will take on responsibilities such as carrier portfolio management and employee training and development.
Postles expressed enthusiasm about building upon the foundation laid by Tepe, stating, “I am honoured to carry forward the legacy that Bill has established. Working alongside him has been a pleasure, and I am thrilled about building upon the foundation he successfully laid.”
