EDME Insurance Brokers, one of India’s largest insurance and reinsurance broking firms, has appointed Vinod Krishnan as Global Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Treaty Reinsurance.
In his new role, Krishnan will lead and scale the broker’s global treaty platform from Mumbai.
Krishnan has 36 years of industry experience, of which he spent 18 at Aon Benfield, serving in the roles of CEO of Asia, Vice President, Head of Analytics and Head of Business Projects at Aon Re Asia.
Most recently, he served at Gallagher Re as the Head of Reinsurance and Director of Client Relationship Management.
His other experience includes serving as the Executive Director of J B Boda & Co (S) Pte Ltd., Deputy CEO for South East Asia and Korea at Guy Carpenter, and CEO of Asia Reinsurance at JLT Group.
Krishnan began his career in the insurance industry as Head of Underwriting & Reinsurance at Mittare Insurance in 1992.
