Eduardo Dávila appointed as President of Aon Spain

Insurance and reinsurance broker Aon, has appointed Eduardo Dávila as President of Aon Spain.

Dávila takes on this role while also still holding his current responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in Aon EMEA, and also serving as a member of the Aon Executive Committee Global.

Dávila joined Aon over 21 years ago. He joined the firm as Director of Corporate Business, Spain, in 2002, before later being promoted to CEO, Portugal in 2005.

After serving in that role for five years, Dávila was then named CEO, Iberia in 2010, and would hold that role for seven years, before being promoted to CEO, Iberia and Middle East. He was then named CEO, EMEA in 2021.

Prior to joining Aon, Dávila served as an Investment Advisor at BBVA, a Spanish multinational financial services company based in Madrid and Bilbao.

In a statement regarding Dávila’s appointment, Aon said: “This position recognizes his link with our country, where he began his career at Aon more than 20 years ago, and his important contribution to making Spain a key country for our company for talent and business results.”
