EMC Reinsurance Company (EMC Re), part of EMC Insurance Companies, has announced the appointment of Linda Rivera as Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Business Intelligence, based in New York.
Rivera, a seasoned reinsurance professional, brings more than 35 years of experience in underwriting, risk management, and operational efficiency to the role.
She most recently served as Senior Vice President (SVP) and Regional Multiline Manager for QBE Reinsurance. Previously, she has spent time at XL Reinsurance, Gulf Insurance Company, and Partner Reinsurance.
In her new role, Rivera joins the executive team at EMC Re, tasked with leading the reinsurer’s Business Intelligence division, providing consultation in areas of underwriting, risk management, pricing, and analytics.
EMC Re states that her unique and diversified background with expertise in both underwriting and operations will drive profitable growth and diversification of the portfolio.
