Re/insurance holding company W.R. Berkley Corporation has appointed John Enright as President of Berkley Specialty London and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of W. R. Berkley Syndicate Management Limited, effective July 1st, 2026.
W. R. Berkley Syndicate Management Limited is the Lloyd’s managing agent for W. R. Berkley Syndicate 1967.
The appointment is subject to regulatory approvals. Enright succeeds James Hastings, who will continue to serve in a corporate role at Berkley and support the transition.
He has nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry across strategy, operations, finance, and technology, with a particular focus on the London and international markets.
Most recently, Enright served as Chief Operating Officer of Berkley Specialty London.
