Enstar group has added Orla Gregory to its board of directors, which was recommended to the Board of Directors by the Nominating and Governance Committee, which is comprised entirely of independent directors.
Gregory is the company’s acting Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. She was appointed to the role of Acting Chief Financial Officer in September 2021 and has served as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer since 2016.
Since joining the Enstar in 2003, Gregory has held increasingly senior roles, including Chief Integration Officer from February 2015 and Executive Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions of subsidiary, Enstar Limited, from May 2014.
Gregory is expected to enter into an indemnification agreement with the Company on the same terms as the indemnification agreements executed with each of the Company’s other current directors.
Last month it was announced that a subsidiary of the legacy specialist has raised $500 million through the offering of Fixed-Rate Reset Junior Subordinated Notes.
The run-off firm intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to pay off the $280.4 million of outstanding 4.500% Senior Notes which are due 2022. These notes also mature on March 10th, 2022.
