EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants (EPIC), a US insurance brokerage and consulting firm, has announced the appointment of Monica Donatelli as National Surety Practice Development Leader.
In her new position, Donatelli will leverage her over 16 years of experience in construction and commercial surety to develop practice strategy, client service delivery and the expansion of the firm’s surety capabilities across the United States.
Throughout her career, the executive has advised a broad range of clients including, contractors, developers, investor-backed platforms and financial institutions.
She was recently elected as President of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP), and will lead initiatives that educate federal, state and local officials about the value of surety.
At EPIC Donatelli will leverage her extensive professional network and proven ability to lead elite surety teams to enhance market capacity access.
She has been tasked with creating customized bonding strategies for a diverse client base spanning sectors such as energy, healthcare, financial services, waste management, transportation, and construction.
Donatelli commented: “EPIC’s national platform has built a strong foundation for serving clients with bonding and risk management needs. The firm’s commitment to thinking big, inspiring trust and delivering results for clients aligns closely with my own approach to leadership and service.
“I’m excited to build on existing momentum by helping grow the firm’s surety practice, further strengthening its client-first approach and delivering specialized solutions for organisations that rely on surety bonding as a critical part of their business.”
Her appointment follows EPIC’s acquisition of The Bond Exchange, which strengthened the firm’s contract and commercial surety capabilities.
These strategic moves reflect EPIC’s commitment to expanding its national surety practice and providing clients with enhanced resources and market expertise, the firm noted.
Scott Davis, President of National Specialties, said: “Building a leading surety practice starts with attracting exceptional talent. Monica’s addition further positions EPIC to serve organizations of all sizes as they navigate complex bonding challenges.
“Monica brings a strong combination of technical surety expertise, leadership experience and deep market relationships that will further enhance the capabilities of our national surety practice. Her industry leadership and commitment to developing high-performing teams will help us continue delivering outcomes for clients nationwide.”
