EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, a national insurance brokerage firm, is strengthening its leadership team with two significant executive promotions to better serve its specialised clients and employees.

epic-insurance-brokers-logo-newPhilip V. Moyles has been appointed as Co-President, joining Tom O’Neil in the role, while Gregg Bundschuh takes on the role of Chief Growth Officer, succeeding Moyles.

These promotions underscore Moyles’ and Bundschuh’s influential roles within EPIC, each having joined the organisation through acquisitions.

Moyles will focus on driving growth, building carrier and market relationships, and refining placement strategies.

In addition to his Co-President duties, Moyles will continue to lead the Financial Services platform, emphasising expansion in the upper middle market and large-risk segments.

Moyles originally joined EPIC with the acquisition of Vanbridge, a firm he founded in 2008, which became central to EPIC’s Financial Services division. Under his leadership, the Financial Services platform has achieved some of EPIC’s highest growth rates.

As Chief Growth Officer, Bundschuh will drive further specialisation and oversee the development of new specialty practice areas.

Since joining EPIC in 2014 through the acquisition of his company, Greyling, Bundschuh has led the architects and engineers division and more recently developed the National Construction & Infrastructure Group, the EPIC Law Firm Practice Group, and the EPIC Senior Living Practice.

“EPIC continues to demonstrate the ability to find creative solutions for the complex needs of our clients in a constantly evolving risk environment,” added O’Neil. “Phil and Gregg are exceptional leaders who I am thrilled to be working with in their expanded roles, further emphasising our firm’s commitment to client-centric solutions.”

“I have been fortunate to work closely with Phil and Gregg over the past six years at EPIC and they have each led some of our fastest growing business segments. They both bring innovative solutions to our clients through a deep understanding of our clients’ niche industries,” commented Steve Denton, CEO Galway Retail Services.
