EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, a national insurance brokerage firm, has announced three key appointments in the Midwest region, further strengthening its presence in the St. Louis, MO area.
The new hires bring decades of experience across employee benefits consulting and the property and casualty (P&C) sectors, with expertise in industries such as manufacturing, retail, distribution, and construction.
Adam Meyerowitz, EPIC’s Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the significance of the appointments, stating, “It is critical that we continue to attract talent with robust client-focused dedication.”
He continued, “The additions of Rick, Joleen and Brad further underscore our commitment to partnering with professionals who value creating customized solutions for clients in a changing risk landscape.”
Under the leadership of Tim Bender, President of EPIC’s Midwest region, the appointments mark a significant expansion of the firm’s footprint. Bender commented, “Rick, Joleen, and Brad each have impressive track records of success for clients,” said Bender.
He added, “They recognise the immense value of gaining a deep understanding of client needs in order to develop the most effective solutions.”
Rick Frechmann, appointed Managing Principal, brings 25 years of domestic and international sales and leadership experience, as well as 10 years in P&C insurance.
He joins EPIC from AssuredPartners, where he served as Partner, and previously as Senior Vice President and Sales Manager at AssuredPartners of Missouri.

Joleen Mayfield and Bradley Snitzer have both been named Principal. Mayfield, with over 40 years of experience as a property/casualty consultant, specialises in serving clients in construction, retail, distribution, and manufacturing.
She joins EPIC from AssuredPartners of Missouri, where she most recently served as Marketing Account Executive / New Business Development. Previously, she was Vice President and Senior Account Executive at JW Terrill Insurance.
Snitzer brings over 30 years of experience as an employee benefits consultant, delivering strategic solutions for clients. He also joins from AssuredPartners, where he served as Partner, and previously held the position of Vice President and Sales Leader at The Cornerstone Insurance Group, an AssuredPartners company, and SynchronyHR.
