Everest Group names Christopher Kujawa as Chief Human Resources Officer

Everest Group, Ltd., an underwriting organisation offering reinsurance and specialty insurance solutions, announced the appointment of Christopher Kujawa as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective January 20, 2026.

everest-logo-2024Kujawa will report to Jim Williamson, President and Chief Executive Officer, and will become a member of Everest’s Executive Leadership Team.

He will assume the role from Gail Van Beveren, Interim Chief Human Resources Officer, who will stay on for a brief transition period to maintain continuity.

With more than 25 years of experience leading global human resources functions, Kujawa has supported transformation initiatives across publicly traded and private companies in financial services and technology-enabled business services.

He recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Conduent Incorporated, a publicly traded global technology and services company, where he worked in close partnership with the CEO and Board throughout a period of meaningful organisational change.

At Conduent, Kujawa oversaw the global human resources function and played a key role in reshaping the HR operating framework. His work included modernising systems, strengthening data and analytics capabilities, and partnering closely with senior leadership on governance, workforce planning, and enterprise priorities.

Prior to Conduent, he held executive HR roles at American Express and Ally Financial, where he supported global organisational effectiveness programmes and provided leadership through major corporate transformation and restructuring initiatives.

Kujawa earned a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from South Dakota State University.
