Everest Insurance, a division of Bermuda-based reinsurer Everest Re, has announced the appointment of Graham Pitt as Head of International Surety, based out of London.
Pitt joins Everest from Liberty Mutual Group, where he most recently served as Head of Surety (Europe and Asia Pac).
He spent over two decades in Liberty’s surety unit, holding various senior roles including responsibility for Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Pitt has more than 25 years’ years experience in the re/insurance industry, having begun his career as a graduate trainee with Millers and later becoming a surety underwriter at AIG.
“Graham has the industry experience and dedication to client service to take us to new heights as we continue to grow our international surety presence,” said Anthony Romano, Head of Surety at Everest Insurance.
“We’re excited to have him join our growing Everest Insurance International team.”
Vincent Vandendael, CEO of Everest Insurance International, also commented: “We are pleased that Graham will be taking his wealth of knowledge and vast network in the surety space to Everest.”
