Everest Insurance has announced the appointment of new Senior Underwriter Becky Biermann within the Environmental division of Everest Specialty Casualty.
She joins the California-based division with 18 years’ experience underwriting casualty and environmental liability, having started out at AIG in 2005 in the environmental casualty division.
Biermann most recently worked for environmental specialty MGA Enviant, where she was Vice President and Lead Environmental Underwriter for the West Coast.
Commenting on the announcement, Brian Farr, Head of Everest Environmental, said, “Becky brings a unique technical skill set in both casualty and environmental lines of business and significant experience in manufacturing and construction risks.”
Adding, “We look forward to offering value added products and services to these two important industry sectors for Everest Environmental. We are extremely pleased to have Becky join the Everest team.”
