Everest Insurance, the insurance division of Everest Group, has launched a dedicated US Wholesale and Programs Division to serve the distinct and evolving needs of this market.
According to the announcement, the Division comprises specialised wholesale segments, underwriters, and distribution teams, including Everest Underwriting Partners, the company’s programs business.
Everest Group is a global underwriting leader providing best-in-class property, casualty, and specialty reinsurance and insurance solutions.
Mike Mulray, President of North America Insurance, is to head up the business on an interim basis while the carrier appoints a permanent lead.
Commenting on the announcement, Mulray said: “This dedicated offering reflects Everest’s decades of experience and exceptional support for our wholesale partners.
“We are further strengthening our commitment by bringing our customers and distribution partners highly customised capabilities and greater access to the full breadth of our products and services, with the customer-first culture they expect from Everest.”
Mulray was recently appointed Executive Vice President and President of North America Insurance. He had previously served as Global Chief Operating Officer for Everest Insurance, having first joined the firm in 2015 as Chief Underwriting Officer.
