Everest Insurance has announced the appointments of François-Xavier d’Huart as Head of France and Europe Strategic Projects and Anne Charon as Head of Client Engagement, Europe for Everest Insurance International, in a move that expands the firm’s European footprint.
Véronique Brionne, Head of Continental Europe at Everest, expressed enthusiasm for the appointments, stating, “The appointments of François-Xavier and Anne reflect Everest’s commitment to world-class leadership who understand the needs of the market, with the capabilities to exceed expectations.”

François-Xavier d’Huart brings around 20 years of industry experience, particularly within the French market.
He joins Everest from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, where he held the role of Head of France & Belgium – Country Manager France for five years. In this position, he was responsible for launching and leading operations in France and Belgium.
Previously, he worked as Head of Broker and Client Management at XL Catlin and held several key leadership roles at AXA.
d’Huart will assume Charon’s previous leadership responsibilities over Everest’s French operations, as she most recently served as Head of France prior to her new appointment.
In the newly established role of Head of Client Engagement, Europe, Charon will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of Everest’s client and growth strategies across Continental Europe.
Charon is an industry veteran with over 35 years of experience. She joined Everest in 2022 and has been integral to the company’s expansion into the French market. During her tenure, she also served as Head of Netherlands – ad interim for a year.
