Eelco van Keimpema has been appointed Head of Liability and Industry Practices, Europe for Everest Insurance International, part of global insurer and reinsurer Everest.
van Keimpema, who has over two decades of industry experience, is joining Everest following 16 years at AIG, where he most recently served as Head of Casualty Europe, Middle East and Africa.
He joined AIG in 2008 following his tenure at Gerling as Senior Underwriter Liability. He joined AIG with a similar role, later appointed Manager Liabilities South Africa before becoming Regional Head of Casualty Middle East and Africa.
At AIG, van Keimpema also served as Head of Liability and Financial Lines MENA and Eastern Europe, Head of Commercial Lines Middle East and Africa, as well as Head of Casualty Europe.
