Everest Insurance, a division of Everest Re Group, Ltd., has announced a number of promotions within its Commercial Casualty leadership team, with four U.S. domiciled underwriters becoming regional leaders.
Frank Engle, who joined Everest Insurance in 2018 in the Atlanta office, has been appointed Vice President & Regional Leader for the South, taking oversight of the company’s Commercial Casualty teams in Atlanta and Houston.
At the same time, Marc Costa is set to transfer from the company’s New York office to Chicago as Vice President & Regional Leader for the Midwest. The group’s largest underwriting team is based in Chicago, and Costa will be tasked with assisting with the division’s growth and expansion in the region.
Scott Weiss, currently Vice President, has been named Regional Leader for the Northeast. He joined the insurance arm of Everest in 2018 and in his new role, will be focused on expanding the company’s Commercial Casualty team in New York.
In addition, Garrett Myklak has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and Regional Leader for the Southwest. Myklak joined Everest Insurance in 2017, and since then has played an important role in deepening local relationships and expanding the firm’s visibility across the West Coast. In his new role, he will lead the team in Los Angeles.
