The primary insurance arm of global reinsurer Everest Re Group, Ltd., Everest Insurance, has announced the appointment of Andrew McBride as Senior Vice President, Global Head of Claims.
In his new role, McBride will be based in London and will report directly to Mike Karmilowicz, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Everest Insurance.
As Global Head of Claims, McBride takes on responsibility for leading the strategic oversight and holistic management of all aspects of commercial insurance claims operations globally.
Joining the Division’s senior leadership team, McBride will work to further streamline and drive efficiencies in the claims processes, with continued investment in advanced data and analytics.
He joins Everest from global insurer Chubb, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President of Claims, where he was responsible for the management of all aspects of claims across the firm’s international business.
Earlier in his career, McBride led the management of all claims and related issues as Director of Claims at QBE’s European entity. Previously, he has spent time working in various claims roles at Aon and AXA Group.
