Everest Group, a Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer, has promoted Tomi Latva-Kiskola to Chief Executive of Global Wholesale & Specialty, Asia Pacific (APAC).
At Everest, Latva-Kiskola has held senior Asia-Pacific leadership roles since February 2024.
He initially joined as Head of Insurance, Asia, before being appointed Chief Executive of Everest International Reinsurance Ltd., Singapore Branch.
Before Everest, Latva-Kiskola spent nearly 16 years with AIG in a series of senior international leadership roles across North America, Asia and EMEA.
Here, Latva-Kiskola chiefly served as Regional Manager for Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau and as President & CEO of AIG Insurance Hong Kong (2018–2024).
Before that, he was President of AIG Thailand Group and CEO & Country Manager of New Hampshire Insurance Co. Thailand (2014–2019).
Earlier roles included VP, Managing Director of AIG Shared Services EMEA in Sofia, VP, Site Manager of AIG Shared Services in Manila, and Director of International General Insurance (AIU) Operations in the Greater New York City area.
