Evolve Capital Partners names Kevin McMurchy to new role

Evolve Capital Partners has named Kevin W. McMurchy as its new managing director of insurance financial institutions investment banking.

The firm said in a statement that McMurchy will focus on middle-market transactions within the financial services and insurance industries.

Most recently, Mr. McMurchy served as the managing director and Group Head of Financial Institutions at Scott-Macon, Ltd.

Prior to Scott-Macon, Mr. McMurchy was a managing director and led the Financial Institutions Group with Dresner Partners and was a managing director with Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin and Keefe, Bruyette and Woods (KBW).

According to his LinkedIn profile, McMurchy moves into his role at Evolve Capital Partners following a five-year stint at Scott-Macon as managing director and group head for financial institutions investment banking.

That role followed six years as senior managing director at Dresner Partners and two-year and six-year stints in managing director roles at Houlihan Lokey and at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods.
