Managing general agency, Falcon Risk Services, has welcomed both Ted Stefas and Gopika Shah to the newly create roles of Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Technology Officer, respectively.
Most recently, Stefas served as Chief Underwriting Counsel and Assistant General Counsel at Argo Group.
Stefas will report to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Craig Landi, and will sit on the executive leadership team to help deliver solutions for clients.
He has over two decades of legal experience serving in multiple senior leadership roles and as counsel for Management and Professional Liability insurance groups.
Shah joins Falcon from AIG where she spent nine years, most recently as Global Head of Reference Data Management and Data Governance.
She will be part of Falcon’s CIO organization as a Technology Officer focusing on strategic development and data architecture in support of the firm’s data warehouse, analytics, and predictive modeling capabilities.
