Dallas, Texas headquartered reinsurance intermediary, Fathom Reinsurance Partners, has announced the appointment of industry veteran Mark Rex as Managing Partner.
Rex brings nearly four decades of reinsurance industry experience, specialising in Treaty and Program broking within Property and Casualty lines.
His arrival is expected to significantly enhance Fathom Re’s client advisory capabilities, particularly in program design and strategic risk transfer.
“Mark plays a key role in the firm’s strategic direction and oversight of key initiatives, with a focus on business development and the continued evolution of its technology and analytic platforms,” a Fathom Re spokesperson commented.
Rex has previously worked at BMS Re, where he served as Executive Vice President. His tenure there followed BMS Re’s acquisition of Trean, a US-based independent reinsurance broker and services company.
Through his career, the executive has also held a number of roles at brokers Willis, Aon, and Guy Carpenter, where he led workers’ compensation program practices.
